We typically provide 2 preparation styles: Standard classic popiah (vegetables & egg with sauce) Vegetarian option (no egg, vegetables only) Upon request, sauce level can be adjusted (more sweet sauce or lighter sauce) to suit guest preference.
Yes, it is very kids-friendly. The popiah is soft, non-spicy, and easy to bite. Children usually enjoy it because the flavor is mild and the portion is manageable. Parents also prefer it because it is not oily or fried compared to many other snack stations.
A standard popiah typically contains braised turnip (jicama), carrot, egg, fresh vegetables, and sweet sauce. The combination gives a balanced taste, slightly savory, slightly sweet, and very light.
The Popiah Live Station features freshly hand-rolled spring rolls prepared individually upon request. Our staff assembles each popiah with cooked vegetables, egg, and sauce, then wraps it in a soft spring roll skin right in front of guests.
