In Singapore, the budget per person for a corporate family day varies quite a bit depending on the venue, food, entertainment, and whether you’re engaging an event company. As a general guideline:

Basic Tier (S$40–70 per pax)
Suitable for smaller companies or budget-conscious events. Typically includes a simple venue (or company premises), light refreshments or a basic buffet, a few fringe activities such as face painting or balloon sculpting, and minimal event setup.

Standard Tier (S$80–150 per pax)
The most common budget range for corporate family days in Singapore. This usually covers a venue, buffet or catered meal, emcee, stage games, carnival booths, inflatables, children’s entertainment, photo booth, basic sound system, event crew, and event management.

Premium Tier (S$150–300+ per pax)
Designed for larger corporations and flagship annual events. Includes premium venues, themed décor, professional stage production, live performances, multiple activity zones, premium catering, custom branding, high-end prizes, interactive digital experiences, and comprehensive event management.

1. Venue Approval (Most important)

Obtain approval from the venue owner or venue management. This is required whether you’re using a hotel, convention centre, office compound, park, or community space.

2. Public Entertainment Licence (If Applicable)

You may need a Public Entertainment Licence (PEL) if your event includes entertainment that is open to the public and does not fall under an exemption. Examples include live performances, concerts, or certain stage shows. Private, invitation-only corporate family days are often exempt, but you should confirm based on your event details.

3. NParks Permit (For Parks)

If your family day is held in an NParks-managed park or nature reserve, you may require:

• Venue booking
• Organised group activity permit
• Approval for event structures or exclusive use of an area

These requirements depend on the park and the scale of the event.

4. SCDF Temporary Change of Use Permit

If you’re transforming a building or space for a temporary event (e.g. setting up a carnival, exhibition, stage, or large temporary structures), SCDF may require a Temporary Change of Use Permit (TCOUP).
